After being home now for two and a half days (I admit, it seems much longer than that), I’m trying to make the most of my time creatively—whether it’s knitting, sketching, writing, or playing the piano. I find those activities are a nice distraction from the world around me (and the hopelessness that tries to creep up on me).
The sunshine finally made an appearance this afternoon so I decided to take advantage of it despite the brisk temperatures. Spring is in the air—it’s officially here! It’s time to take notice and rejoice and be glad in God’s creation. After snapping some photos to sketch, I jotted down a quick haiku. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope it takes your mind off society’s problems just for a minute.
