Wednesday Briefs: July 2, 2014

Angel of the Air

David spun the titanium band that now occupied his left ring finger. Even though they’d been engaged for two years prior to tying the knot, he still marveled that Gabriel would want to spend the rest of his life with him.

“What’s going through that head of yours, babe? You look way too serious, considering we’re on our way to Hawaii for our honeymoon.” Gabriel, his partner and former Army Ranger, could read him as though the words were engraved on his forehead.

A small smile graced David’s lips. It warmed his heart to see love broadcasting from Gabriel’s pale blue eyes. “I still can’t believe we’re married. As in officially husband and husband.” Continue reading “Wednesday Briefs: July 2, 2014”
