I got good news from Torquere Press the other day, and I wanted to share!
Drama on Skyline Drivehas been accepted into their Charity Sips anthology (this is an m-m anthology where royalties are donated to charity). I’m excited about this story as it gives the reader more insight into Mason’s personality. It also set-ups a sequel novella (that is laid out but not written) to Mountain Memories. Hopefully that has your interest peaked!
For a “Friday Feature” I’m going to share the first line of the story with you…Ready??
As he patrolled the Southern District of Shenandoah National Park, Ranger Mason Lake’s thoughts strayed to his lover, Jackson “Jax” Chamberlain.
So that didn’t quench your thirst, you say? How about a random sentence…
Jax shook his head, a sad smile gracing his lips. “Please, Mason, of course I’ll help. Do you need me to carry anything?”
That’s all for Drama – at least for now. When I get more information on the anthology, I will be sure to share it.
My other writing project that is really going to town (so to speak), is Manny and Chad’s story. I wrote 4K words on it yesterday so it is now at 14K words. I’m thinking it’s about half done. I love the chemistry that has developed between the two guys. It has been so much fun to write!
I’m going to end with a photo of Skyline Drive. I’ve done a lot of hiking in Shenandoah National Park, mostly in the fall. Even though the story is set in the summer, this pic will give you an idea of the road. Come to think of it, I may share future hiking pics, too. Enjoy!
