I have to thank my Goodreads friend, Ann, for pointing this out. Thanks, girl, for the pictures you posted *wink* If you want to check out her blog, here is a link: http://underthecoversbookblog.blogspot.com/ (Also, if you need more Gandy Candy, check out her July 18, 2011 post)
So British model David James Gandy would make a perfect Roarke in J.D. Robb’s In Death (Eve Dallas) series. I’ve only read the first book, Naked in Death, but I’m already in love with Eve, Roarke, and Robb’s futuristic world. Eve is a tough homicide detective who has lots of car problems. She drinks “fake” coffee – the real stuff is too expensive. Roarke, Mr. Savvy, starts wooing her with a gift of coffee. How perfect can he be, right? Very perfect. Eve struggles with her past, the little bit that she can remember, but she still manages to stay tough and get the job done.
At the start of Glory in Death, Eve is on another high-profile homicide case. Of course, as her poor luck would have it, Roarke’s name is already in the mix, not so much a suspect this time, but he is connected to the victim. I’m only two chapters along thus far, but I really enjoyed the tub scene. *swoon*
Hey sweets! Thanks so much for the mention!

i agree that he would make an excellent Roarke, sexiness, class, power and charm bundled within a very smolderingly attractive package!
