Days like this make me want to curl up with a good book and a cup of coffee. We are in great need of rain so I’m very thankful for it.
Speaking of curling up with a good book, I finished Laura Wright’s Eternal Hunger last night. Talk about a new read that caught my attention and has me wanting more! I fell in love with the Roman brothers – Alexander, Nicholas, and Lucien – who are all yummy vampires, living life outside the Eternal Order until certain events bring them back to the Order’s notice. Sara, a human doctor, saves Alexander and ends up falling in love with him. Of course, Sara has demons of her own in trying to help her brother, Gray. A definite page turner and a refreshing take on vampires. Can’t wait to start the next book in the series.
Speaking of the next book, I’m still in mourning at the loss of Border’s. I guess I need to make friends with Barnes and Noble or rely on Amazon and hope for quick shipping. I do have my Kindle, but it’s just not the same when you want to have a book in your hands.
